Hunting
About hunting in Tajikistan
Tajikistan is a state in Central Asia.
This is the kingdom of Marco Polo’s sheep, mountain goats, Markhoors, urials, leopards, wolves, bears, and wild boars. During the rut, these sheep gather in huge herds that fill the valleys. Such clusters can number more than 1 thousand heads. These animals mainly live on the Pamir plateau at an altitude of 4000-5000 m.
Trophy qualities of Siberian mountain goats on the plateau are quite low, a male with horns of more than one meter is good luck. But the vast territories with rocky and steep sections of mountains are fraught with a huge population of this species. Surely, one of them is a new world record.
